This tool "To PGD or not to PGD" is intended to be the first stage in the process to help colleagues consider whether a PGD is appropriate. 

 

The aim is to ensure that patients receive safe and appropriate care and timely access to medicines, in line with legislation.

 

This tool has been comprehensively reviewed and updated to reflect changes in legislation and guidelines, including Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and NICE MPG2 PGDs 2013. More links have been added to help support decision making processes.
