A Case of Topical Metronidazole–Induced Encephalopathy

41-year-old man with decubitus ulcers presented with 2 days of slurring of speech & facial deviation with 1 seizure; he had been applying powdered metronidazole (MT) tablets (with gel) over ulcers for 8-10 months. Neuroimaging pattern was highly characteristic for MT toxicity.
