Accuracy of SIE/SIES/GITMO Consensus Criteria for Unfitness to Predict Early Mortality After Intensive Chemotherapy in Adults With AML or Other High-Grade Myeloid Neoplasm

This study found overall survival of adults with AML undergoing intensive therapy was lower in those who met at least one of the Ferrara criteria defining unfitness for such chemotherapy (median 4.8 months v 36.8 months; P <0.001), suggesting it is a good prediction tool.
