Adverse Effects of Low-Dose Methotrexate: A Randomized Trial
Pre-specified safety analysis from Cardiovascular Inflammation Reduction Trial (n=6,158) shows relative rates of AEs were higher in those on methotrexate vs placebo group for gastrointestinal AE, liver enzyme elevations, pulmonary AEs, infectious events, anaemia and leukopenia.
