Antimicrobial stewardship in the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic: a population-based cohort study and interrupted time-series analysis

Study (Jan 2017-Sept 2020) found pandemic months were initially associated with increased antibiotic prescribing (March: adjusted RR 1.13), which then fell below expected levels during the lockdown (May: 0.73) suggesting antibiotic stewardship priorities have not been neglected.
