Assessment of Evidence About Common Infant Symptoms and Cow’s Milk Allergy
Review of 9 Cow’s Milk Allergy (CMA) guidelines (2012-2019) found recommendations to manage common infant symptoms as CMA are not evidence based. For >99% infants with proven CMA, breastmilk of a CM consuming woman contains insufficient milk allergen to trigger allergic reaction.
