Assessment of SARS-CoV-2 Reinfection 1 Year After Primary Infection in a Population in Lombardy, Italy

Study suggests reinfections are rare events (n=5 [0.31%] over mean follow-up 280 days in 1579 positive patients) & mean interval between primary infection (PI) and reinfection was longer than 230 days. Of 13,496 people initially not infected, 528 (3.9%) subsequently developed PI.
