Assessment of the effectiveness of a pharmacist approach for improving disease-specific knowledge and treatment in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Indian observational study (75 patients counselled at a tertiary care facility by a pharmacist and provided with a COPD information leaflet) found that the patient’s Bristol COPD Knowledge Questionnaire score improved from 25.87 points at baseline to 42.43 after 1 month.
