Association Between Medication Use and Bullous Pemphigoid: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Meta-analysis of 15 studies (n=285,884) notes a significant association of bullous pemphigoid with previous use of aldosterone antagonists (OR 1.75; 95% CI, 1.28-2.40), DDP-4 inhibitors (1.92; 1.55-2.38), anticholinergics (3.12; 1.54-6.33) and dopaminergics (2.03; 1.34-3.05).
