Association between Mental Disorders and Subsequent Medical Conditions

Analysis of data from Danish population-based cohort study (n > 5.9 million) found that most mental disorders were associated with an increased risk of a subsequent medical condition; hazard ratios ranged from 0.82 to 3.62 and varied according to time since diagnosis.
