Association between topical beta-blockers and risks of cardiovascular and respiratory disease in patients with glaucoma: a retrospective cohort study

This retrospective study of patients with newly diagnosed glaucoma (n=12,336) found that after adjusting for age and sex, the risk for cardiovascular and respiratory disease was not increased in those who were receiving topical therapy with beta-blockers.
