Asthma and all-cause mortality in children and young adults: a population-based study

This Swedish study found asthma was associated with increased mortality in children and young adults (adjusted HR 1.46; 95% CI 1.33-1.62); risk was higher in those also with a life-limiting condition (1.87; 1.57-2.22). Parental socioeconomic status did not alter the association.
