Azithromycin or Doxycycline for Asymptomatic Rectal Chlamydia trachomatis
RCT (n=625, Australia) found 7-day course of doxycycline was superior to single-dose azithromycin in treatment of rectal chlamydia infection among men who have sex with men (microbiologic cure occurred in 96.9% vs. 76.4%; respectively, p<0.001).
