Benzodiazepines for treatment of patients with delirium excluding those who are cared for in an intensive care unit

As only two small trials were identified (n=88), review concludes there is not enough evidence to determine whether benzodiazepines are effective when used to treat patients with delirium in non‐ICU settings, and thus their routine use for this indication is not supported.
