Beta-blockade for the treatment of cardiac arrest due to ventricular fibrillation or pulseless ventricular tachycardia: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Review of 3 studies (n=115) found that beta-blockade increased the rate of sustained return of spontaneous circulation and survival with a favourable neurological outcome vs control. Authors highlight however a high risk of bias, and further RCTs are needed.
