BMA urges plan to tackle backlog of patients awaiting non-Covid treatment

A BMA survey found over half of doctors were not very confident or not confident at all their department would be able to manage patient demand as services resumed. Over 40% said demand had increased significantly in the past week; 14% said it already exceeded pre-Covid levels.
