Botulinum toxin type A in the treatment of lower limb spasticity in children with cerebral palsy

Review of 31 RCTs (n=1508) found limited evidence that botulinum toxin type A is more effective than placebo at improving gait, joint range of motion, satisfaction, and lower limb spasticity. The rate of adverse events is similar to placebo.
