British Pain Society and Faculty of Pain Medicine concerns with NICE guidelines on chronic primary pain

Both organisations have published separate statements outlining their concerns that these guidelines do not reflect clinical practice or current evidence. In particular, there were concerns that short-term analgesics are not offered as a treatment option.
