Cardiovascular Implications of Fatal Outcomes of Patients With Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

This case series of 187 patients in China found those with myocardial injury (raised troponin T) had a higher mortality rate (37.5% without underlying CVD; 69.4% if also had CVD), whilst the prognosis of those with underlying CVD (no injury) was relatively favourable (7.6%).
