Cardiovascular safety of hydroxychloroquine in veterans with rheumatoid arthritis
Comparator safety study (n=8852) found incidence of long QT syndrome and arrhythmia‐related hospitalisation was low during first year of hydroxychloroquine therapy or another non‐biologic DMARD. There was no evidence of a higher risk of adverse cardiovascular events or death.
