Characteristics of registered clinical trials assessing treatments for COVID-19: a cross-sectional analysis

Review of 201 registered trials for COVID found only 8.7% were for new molecular entities. 152 were RCTs, of which 97 were open label. Authors highlight many trials lack features to optimse their scientific value, and global co-ordination of higher quality research is needed.
