Chemotherapy versus surgery for initial treatment in advanced ovarian epithelial cancer
Review (5 RCTs, n=1719) found moderate‐certainty evidence of little/no difference in primary survival outcomes between primary debulking surgery and neoadjuvant chemotherapy, but latter may reduce risk of serious adverse events and need for bowel resection and stoma formation.
