A second Service Specification covers the provision of cancer services for children aged 0 to 15 years, up to the 16th birthday at the Children’s Cancer Principal Treatment Centre in England. The Specification also describes the purpose and requirements of the Children’s Cancer Network.
The National Director of Specialised Commissioning at NHS England has written a response to Professor Sir Mike Richards on the publication of the children’s cancer specifications following his recommendations to the NHS England Board in January 2020.
