Class 2 drug alert – Betahistine 8mg and 16mg tablets (Kent Pharmaceuticals Limited)

Several batches are being recalled as they are contaminated with theophylline, due to a cross-contamination issue identified with an excipient used in the manufacture of the finished product. All stock of the affected batches should be quarantined and returned to the supplier.
