Clinical phenotypes and outcomes of SARS-CoV-2, influenza, RSV and seven other respiratory viruses: a retrospective study using complete hospital data
Study (n=12,700) found SARS-CoV-2 linked to higher 30-day mortality vs. influenza (HR 4.43, 95% CI 3.51 to 5.59), RSV (3.81, 2.72 to 5.34) and other respiratory viruses (3.46, 2.61 to 4.60), as well as higher 90-day mortality, ICU admission, ICU mortality and PE in adults.
