Colchicine for acute and chronic coronary syndromes

Colchicine has a unique anti-inflammatory mechanism and has been reported to reduced rate of CV events in ACS. This review discusses influence of colchicine on pathophysiology of coronary artery disease, essential pharmacology and the most important and recent clinical studies.
