Continuous Versus Intermittent Infusion of Vancomycin and the Risk of Acute Kidney Injury in Critically Ill Adults: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Review of 11 studies found continuous infusion linked to a 53% reduction in odds of acute kidney injury (OR 0.47; 95% CI, 0.34-0.65) and 2.6-fold higher odds of pharmacokinetic target attainment (2.63; 1.52-4.57) vs intermittent infusion, without influencing overall mortality.
