Covid-19: Third of people infected have long term symptoms

Findings from React-2 (not yet peer reviewed) found 19.2% reported having Covid-19 previously, and 30.5% of those reported at least one symptom lasting ≥12 weeks. The most common persistent symptoms included tiredness, shortness of breath, muscle aches, and difficulty sleeping.

SPS commentary:

Findings from the study show 5.8% of the entire study population had symptoms lasting at least 12 weeks, which could translate to over 2 million people in England.
