Diabetes as a Risk Factor for Poor Early Outcomes in Patients Hospitalized With COVID-19

Analysis of data from Massachusetts General Hospital (n=450) found that among hospitalised patients with COVID-19, diabetes was linked to poor early outcomes, after adjustment for obesity, with a higher proportion admitted to ICU, required mechanical ventilation and died.
