Different doses of prucalopride in treating chronic idiopathic constipation: a meta-analysis and Bayesian analysis
Analysis (14 RCTs, n=4328) found no incremental benefit in prucalopride use and 1 mg dose could be safer in chronic idiopathic constipation. 1 mg dose obtained max spontaneous bowel movements/week (OR:3.31,95% credible interval 1.72-6.16, probability rank=0.70).
