Discriminatory cardiac arrest care? Patients with low socioeconomic status receive delayed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and are less likely to survive an in-hospital cardiac arrest

Review of 24,217 in-hospital cardiac arrests (IHCA) in Sweden found those with a high socioeconomic status (SES) were more likely to survive CPR vs those with low SES. Authors suggest that patients with low SES could be subject to discrimination when suffering IHCA.
