Effect of Intravenous Zoledronic Acid on Tibiofemoral Cartilage Volume Among Patients With Knee Osteoarthritis With Bone Marrow Lesions: A Randomized Clinical Trial

RCT (n=223) found no significant difference in absolute change in tibiofemoral cartilage volume for zoledronic acid vs. placebo. There was also no difference in secondary outcomes; changes in knee pain, and changes in bone marrow lesion size.
