Effect of Prophylactic Negative Pressure Wound Therapy vs Standard Wound Dressing on Surgical-Site Infection in Obese Women After Cesarean Delivery: A Randomized Clinical Trial

In RCT (n=1608), there was no significant difference in risk of surgical-site infection after caesarean delivery with prophylactic negative pressure wound therapy (3.6%) vs standard wound dressing (3.4%), thus not supporting routine use of this intervention.
