Pooled estimates from 14 RCTs of drugs to reduce amyloid levels suggest no substantial improvement in cognition within the timeframe of typical clinical trials This study provides a web application that allows for the re-estimation of the results when new data become available.

In an accompanying article, the researchers discuss instrumental variable meta-analysis, which provides an approach to combining results from multiple trials into a single estimate of the effect of modifying a biological target on an outcome of interest.
