Effects of angiotensin II receptor blockers on serum potassium level and hyperkalemia risk: retrospective single-centre analysis

Retrospective study (n=819 angiotensin II receptor blockers [ARB]; 1015 calcium channel blocker [CCB] in Japan) found serum potassium was higher with ARBs (0.05 mEq/L, p=0.02) than with CCB treatment, but there was no significant association between ARB use and hyperkalaemia
