Efficacy and safety of anti-epidermal growth factor receptor agents for the treatment of oesophageal cancer: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Review (25 RCTs; n=3406) found anti-EGFR agents have positive effects on overall survival, objective response rate & disease control rate but not progression-free survival; and were linked to high incidence of ADRs (myelosuppression, diarrhoea, acne-like rashes & hypomagnesaemia)
