Summary
Cangrelor is a new platelet aggregation inhibitor licensed in combination with aspirin for reduction of thrombotic cardiovascular events in adults with CAD undergoing PCI who have not received an oral P2Y12 inhibitor prior to PCI and in whom oral therapy is not feasible.
