Summary
Pembrolizumab is accepted for restricted use in NHS Scotland, as monotherapy for the first-line treatment of metastatic non-small cell lung carcinoma in adults whose tumours express PD-L1 (≥50% tumour proportion score) with no EGFR or ALK positive mutations.

The SMC restriction is that treatment with pembrolizumab is subject to a two-year clinical stopping rule.

NICE TA447 recommends pembrolizumab within the Cancer Drugs Fund for this indications with the same restrictions.
