The authors comment that these findings support the efficacy of extending the number of IVF cycles beyond 3 or 4. In the UK NICE recommend that up to 3 full cycles of IVF can be offered in women under age 40 years (and 1 cycle for women over 40 years of age) under pre-specified criteria.
