The study also reported that current use of non-aspirin NSAIDs was associated with an increased risk of ovarian cancer versus non-use (HR 1.19; 95% CI, 1.00-1.41), with a positive trend for duration of use (P=0.02 for trend). The authors discuss the limitations of their data and note that such a study cannot establish causality; this finding would need to be confirmed in further trials.
