Summary
This US study (n=386) found that use of chemo (vs. none) in terminally ill cancer patients in last months of life was linked to increased risk of CPR, mechanical ventilation/both, and dying in ICU (14 vs. 2%) but there was no difference in survival (HR 1.11;95% CI,0.90-1.38).
