Analysis of outcomes from 400 IVF cycles reports those who received growth hormone had increased clinical pregnancy chance (OR 3.42, p<0.0005) and live birth chance (OR 6.16, p<0.0005) after adjustment for maternal age, antral follicle count and transferred embryo quality.

In their clinical guideline on management of fertility problems, NICE does not recommend the use of growth hormone or dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) as adjuvant treatment in IVF protocols.
