RCT (n=156) noted HSCT linked to increased treatment-related mortality in first year after treatment but conferred significant long-term event-free survival benefit [HR 0.35; 95% CI, 0.16-0.74 at 2 years and 0.34; 0.16-0.74 at 4 years] vs. 12 monthly pulses IV cyclophosphamide.
