RCT (n=362) found at median follow up of 19.4 months, progression-free survival was 7.0 months (IQR 4.4 -10.9) in gemcitabine+cisplatin group and 5.6 months (3.0-7.0) in the fluorouracil+cisplatin group (HR 0.55; 95%CI 0.44-0.68, p<0.0001).
