Six-month RCT (n=202) suggests noninferiority of supervised injectable hydromorphone (HM) vs. diamorphine (in per-protocol but not intention to treat analysis) for long-term opioid dependence as measured by self-reported days of street heroin use, with fewer ADRs (5 vs. 24).
