Summary
RCT (N=118) found no statistically significant differences after 3 months in reducing body weight, BMI, and fat mass. In addition, the vegetarian diet was more effective in reducing LDL cholesterol, whereas the Mediterranean was more effective in reducing triglyceride levels.
