Summary
Ceftriaxone was shown to slow disease progression and prolong survival in mouse models of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). However in this 3-stage study, which combined Phase 1, 2 and 3 testing, ceftriaxone did not show clinical efficacy in adults with ALS.
