Summary
After a median follow-up after stenting of 33.4 months, there was no significant difference between aspirin plus clopidogrel and aspirin alone in the primary outcome (composite of death, MI, stroke, or major bleeding).
UKMi comment
The power of the OPTIDUAL trial was however low and reduced by premature termination of enrolment due to slow recruitment of patients to the study.
