Summary
CHMP concluded risk of jaw osteonecrosis remains very low, but it has recommended number of measures to minimise risk, including update to product information and introduction of patient reminder card. Similar measures are in pipeline for other IV bisphosphonates and denosumab.

The CHMP opinion will now be sent to the European Commission for a legally binding decision valid throughout the EU.
