Risk management materials for Darzalex (daratumumab) 20 mg/mL concentrate for solution for infusion: Information for healthcare professionals and Patient Information card

This document contains information for healthcare professionals advising that daratumumab is associated risk of interference with blood typing. The Indirect Coombs test may show positive results in patients on daratumumab, which may persist for up to 6 months after the last dose.

The determination of a patient’s ABO and Rh blood type are not impacted. if an emergency transfusion is required.

 

Patients are required to carry the patient alert card while receiving treatment and for 6 months after treatment has ended.
